Head Theatre Director

Micaela is a Permian graduate. She attended West Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She has spent 5 years with ECISD growing theatre on various campuses.

She is active in her community as a director, designer and actor. Recent directing credits include the SpongeBob Musical, Elf the Musical JR. and Wait Until Dark. She was also seen onstage in 2022 as Charlotte in MCT’s production of Cinderella.

Technical Theatre Director

Rey Montoya has been involved with theatre for 14 years. He graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in Technical Theatre & Design.

He has spent time as an educator and working professionally in theatre, including at the Lake Dillon Theatre Co, Austin City Limits Music Festival, South by Southwest, ZACH Theatre, Maple Rep Theatre and IATSE 205 & Actor’s Equity.
